It has a been a while...We are all doing great!!
Reagan had her check up with the Cardiologist. He said she looks great. Heart looks good and we will see him in 6 months.
She has been seeing the Chiropractor (Dr.Arnone in Matthews,NC) for her torticollis. She has had great improvement since. The torticollis appears to be gone. She will occasionally favor her right side. The left side weakness and twist has greatly improved, you can barely notice it. He said that she was compensating from the right side torticollis. We feel like this has helped her with her developmental delays. She is still seeing the PT and OT twice a week and speech once a week. As of now I don't know how far behind she is. She is sitting up, and almost sitting from lying down position. She is a little stubborn on the crawling thing. She fights the therapist and us when we try to help her and still does not want to be on her tummy very long. They think she may just skip crawling.
She has completed her first cranial band and they recommended we get another. We just got the new one. She will be in it for 3 to 4 months.
She sees the GI doctor next Tuesday. She does still have the feeding tube (Mic-Key button) and is fed her formula through the tube and pumped formula at night. She is eating solid food and can drink juice from a sippy cup. Lately she only wants to eat finger foods instead of being spoon feed baby food. It is hard coming up with foods that she can pick up and eat safely. We hope that after she turns one (June 28) she will be able to switch to cow's milk or something like that with no allergies.
She saw the ophthalmologist last week. He says the glasses are helping the eye turning in. He wants the to wear the patch 2 hours a day. The problem is she keeps pulling off the glasses.
Finally we had her 9 month check up with her pediatrician last month. She is in the 15 percentile for height and weight. So, she decided go ahead and refer her to a endocrinologist. She may or may not need growth hormones now or later. But, a least they will be able to monitor the situation.
She has 8 teeth in now and 2 more just broke through. She really loves to bite things, including my shoulder. Ouch! We are so happy with Reagan and her progress, she is a happy baby and we are so glad that we have her!!
Blake is doing very well. He had his adenoids removed and tubes put in his ears. He is doing so much better. He is very excited about his birthday coming up (May 31). He will be 4. He is also playing tee ball with the church now.
Kayleigh is doing great. She had her prom and looked beautiful. She has about a month til graduation(June 4).
Phil has been working a lot lately. He worked at McGuire Nuclear for 4 weeks and he just left yesterday for Oconee Nuclear for two weeks.
I am usually pretty busy with the kids and working full time. We do get lots of help from Rose and Mike.
We are looking forward to going to Tweetsie the 2nd weekend in June. We will be going with our friends Mark & Georgia and Trevor & Andrea.
Hope everyone is doing well.
Love,
Phil and Tammy
